I love this high-tech, computerized world.
With a string of magic numbers and wondrous letters, I am able to track where my package is.
Yes, it has left New Jersey at 12:30 a.m.; and I am waiting for the next activity scan-in.
My package will be on-time for delivery; it is currently in transit.
What does this amazing package contains??
My very own personalized 1-cup coffee maker.
You see, the other half likes his espresso; and I just like to "Meet Joe Black" in the morning.
I figure this machine will solve the problem of stale coffee, where you can see the oily patches floating on the top of the pot.

I shall do a little review, of which I hope is going to be rave review, when I get my hands on it.
Ooooh.. i can't wait to get my hands on my Joe Black!

 

 

Yeap.
It has been 2 days and my teeth are still sparkling clean!

I finally unscrew myself out of my chair and drag with feet with shackles to the dentist.

Turns out, I will have to schedule an appointment and get my wisdom teeths EXTRACTED!

Ouch.
After that, I will have to go back to the dentist to get 2 teeth sealed, so I won't have cavities.
But overall, the prognosis is not too bad.
Everything else is fine and looking good.

 

Hmm.. now the extraction..

 

 

But I am loving it!

 

Fried onions, fried shallots. I LUV THEM.

These pungent, crunchy bits of heaven complement soups and soft casseroles.

I am loving this tonight on:
Spinach, egg and tofu soup in chicken broth, with a side of roast cooked at least 10 hours, served over plain jasmine rice.

 

Ooooh.. and now, as I am eating, I am watching Sex n the City dvd, playing Scrabble.

Yeap. This is the soup of choice, of desire for me.
It is creamy, yet a little chunky. Full of flavor. I love it.

It is especially good when you dip a side of toasted roast beef sandwich in it.
It gets toasty, yet covered with flavor. Intense.

What will be your plans for today?

 

I am excited with the purchase of my watch. It is nothing fancy, just a simple, good ol' regular Casio digital watch. It kinda brings back special fond memories of those yesteryears.

I like it when the watch beeped at each hour. It reminded me of those times, when I will be sitting restlessly in class, waiting for recess to come around, and someone's watch will be beeping, beeping... beeping.

There will be no plans for anything today. I am going to make some banana nut bread... have some smoked brisket and some hotdogs? Who knows?

 

I am enjoying summer.

It is too hot to do anything outside, but when the sun sets, it is perfect for some quick pick-me-up around the yard.
I have been spending lots of time in the kitchen and i am loving it.

Food hot in this household now is herbed roasted whole chicken, with spiced butter for dipping, some dressing or hot piping French bread.. life is perfect.
