6月27日 serves me right.I am having another bout of stomach ulcer again this year.
And after just one day of bland, plain food ... I am back in full force.
Drinking my OJ, my good ol' black coffee with espresso, eating my oranges and grapefruits, soaking food in some Louisiana hot sauce, and cooking rather spicy and tangy dishes at home.
Needless to say ... or needless to sing ...
"it's all coming back to me now" OUCH! 6月25日 My battleI am battling with this irritating stomach ulcer.
It hurts, and it makes me want to eat more .. a lot more .. so the food will coat the tummy and perhaps the darn acid will eat up my food and won't eat up my lining .. GOSH IT HURTS LIKE Hades Miserable!!!
Instead of waking up to drink water last night ... i woke up and drank milk of magnesia .. gosh ....

ARGH! 6月21日 You people in SingaporeMake your evening free on 31 August to see "Cat and Mouse" at the Exxon Mobile Campus Concert, performed by NUS Drama.
Don't know if you need to be a NUS student or if it is open to the public.. but.. see what you guys can do. This play is written by my former colleauge, current friend, on-off guinea pig for my food experiments...
And I am proud of him.

6月14日 This week thus far ...has been C-R-A-Z-Y.
With 3 exams in 2 classes, and trying to establish a decent, workable schedule so I can pencil in some time to study ... I am rather lost.
I think I am still stuck in the 'quarter break' mood .... I want to be out in the yard, enjoy the sun and the flowers and the birds.

This week creation:
Fusion chicken? Ass-burning Chicken? Fiery Chicken? Or whatever you call it chicken.
This is actually a creation with what I could find in the fridge.
It was supposed to be a curry chicken dish with marsala spice, but ended up with ingredients that are commonly used in other cuisines (Hence the name Fusion Chicken). I don't know much, but this dish was spicy hot .... so hot that you better get some ice chips ready to put in your mouth after a bite or two!
Yummmmmy .... Spicy ...

This week knowledge gained?
Ha. Don't take for granted how you swallow. Swallowing is in fact a complex process that requires the perfect timing of all your oral, laryngeal, pharyngeal and esophageal muscles. Any thing that is off just by a mere second ... YOU WILL BE SCREWED!
I am looking forward to be doing some modified barium testing and doing some endoscopy. ehehe..
The thought of sticking the scope down someone's nasal cavity to view all the C-R-A-P that is in one's laryngeal area is a little icky, but ... somehow, I believe, Practice Makes Perfect!!!!! 6月2日 Your weekend planned?Saturdays will be a treasured day ... at least from now until work comes streaming in.
The first week of school has been rather interesting. Pressure is mounting slowly.
One main unwritten course objective is that I don't kill anyone while treating them. ehehehe ...
This is gonna be an interesting day ...
Keith and I have been invited to his research friend's place for dinner... :)
And I need to wrap up the chores around the house... and start with my study guide ... A massive headache is not helping much .. it kinda drags me down and all i want to do is just pick at the spot that is causing the pain.
Gosh .... at least I am home and is able to control the amount of light and noise in my environment .... imagine being at work tomorrow and not being able to control all that ...
