This is my 3rd week in Singapore. It seemed like I have been here for a really long time.

Indeed, there are a lot of things to get used to, and I wonder if I ever will.

This trip has certainly made me see more clearly into my future. All the previous 2 trips have resulted in me changing directions and moving forward in my career, my life.  

 

People change, I change.

 

Take care of yourself, and take care of the people who loves you. 

It is my 4th day here in Singapore.  There is a lot of getting used to.

But everything is going on as planned .... so far, so good.

 

Wedding preparations are rather crazy and hectic. It is truly going to be an exciting event in a lifetime.  If it was me, I would probably streamline it a whole lot. Probably an event of just immediate family members, maybe a handful of extremely close friends.  It will be small and initimate.  :) That should be a no-brainer.  

 

Singapore has changed, though some forms of it are still recognizable. :) There is still some getting used to though.  I took my first public transportation yesterday (on a bus) after 4 years. It felt cool and weird.  I felt that I had difficulty balancing myself since there was no seat available and men in Singapore don't generally give up seats to women. 

 

My visa was approved, and I shall be returning on Friday to collect all my forms and my passport. :) Yay to that.  That is definitely a load off my shoulder. 

For now, I guess I am able to fully indulge in my vacation :)

Not exactly in tip top shape right now. I am actually laying on my carry-on, across 2 chairs, waiting for my connecting flight to Singapore.

I am definitely beat. The flight from Fort Worth to Japan was rather rough.  Perhaps I had too much espresso in the morning. Perhaps some SMU students are noisy and making rather thoughtless comments about China, Taiwan, Japan.  They actually said "Lions in China are bigger"

Yeap. The grass is also greener, the moon is rounder and brighter.

 

I look rough too. Pulled my hair back into a pony tail, no makeup ...just rough.

Oh well, what the heck.  What do I care what people think of me?
