I am assigned to do my extern at a medical center. We move back and forth the ambulatory care center, the main hospital, the cancer center, and sometimes the women/children hospital.

My first two days have been an eye-opening experience. I saw different types of patients I would have never dreamed off in my life.

Sometimes it gets too heart-breaking to see people suffering. But I guess I will have to toughen up.

I am gonna keep an open mind and keep being positive. I am sure I will learn lots in the next months.
